On October 24, 2009, the world united to show its support for immediate and meaningful action on climate change. With over 2000 demonstrations in over 150 countries around the world, the message was clear, 350 ppm is a goal we can rally around.
This year, on October 10, 2010, we are ready to show our leaders that we want to "get to work." From installing solar panels to planting community gardens, people around the world are taking action in their own communities, setting an example for our world leaders.

The Values Behind Our 350 Miles: 350 Postcards Work PartyFor us, “getting to work” means taking action to protect, preserve, and strengthen the things in life that we value: friendship, community, and wild places.
Friendship:
We hope to be joined on our route by friends, new and old.
The invitation is open.
If you like walking, if you value wild landscapes, and if you want to see our leaders taking meaningful steps toward protecting our natural world, come walk with us!
Community:
We hope to visit communities along our route dedicated to addressing climate change and protecting wild places.
Together, we will add our voices to the global chorus of communities calling for immediate action from our political leaders.
Wild places:
Our route travels through some of the last roadless areas in Utah.
These wild landscapes are reservoirs of hope that are worth protecting.
